We bought this flat shortly before the first Covid lockdown. We came to the flat and saw that every single wall, ceiling, and even the microwave oven was pink and purple. For that reason, and even though our design didn’t match this colour, it came to be known as the “Pink Flat.”
It was immediately apparent that this flat was an excellent investment because of its location, its sea-facing balcony, and because it was in a nice little building surrounded by lots of parking spaces.
We had to create an effective and convenient layout for a small flat with a very small kitchen. We tore down the kitchen wall and created a single open space. We increased the size of the window to get a good view of the sea from the flat. We used soft colours and managed to create a pleasant, warm, and homely atmosphere.
We created a hotel-like space in the bedroom, with high-quality woodwork, cabinets with touch systems, a makeup corner with LED lights, a carefully designed blue wall and an electric shutter capable of creating total darkness. The bathroom’s design featured gently coloured tiles.
The flat was renovated during the Covid pandemic. Construction work was discontinued during the first lockdown and resumed after it ended. Ever since the flat was renovated, it has been regularly leased, achieving a 9.5% rate of return.
